Resolutions for 2009

Now that christmas is behind us all, we should look forward to 2009. Too much to eat and a little too much to drink calls for the usual diet,of sorts, and exercise. It seems that all the horse supplies have gone up in price, so extra income to pay for them is going to be a priority. At least making money will last longer than the diet.
Something simple with results in a short period of time ! Not get rich quick rubbish, something that can be developed up to a few hundred a month, then move on to another income stream. One that i have used before , which is reliable and low cost seems the most sensible. Peoples ideas for a home based business vary considerably, but they should just get in the game to start with. Little by little they can then see what works for them. See the best instructions guides with the best teachers. I tend to follow a select few you should take a look at this website and see what you think.

More Ideas

So what ideas did I find and then dismiss? well it would have been great to set up my own business selling horse items from home right? I know tons of stuff about horse equipment, I am a buyer myself so I'd say I know the market exceptionally well and most of all I know I would enjoy trying out any new stuff for myself!!

The trouble with this though is that I would need loads of room to store all the things and also when I think about it loads of money to buy them in the first place before I could sell them. Needless to say neither of which I have.

No I really do think that the home based internet business is best probably doing affiliate marketing and clickbank. Take a look at this website I think it has lots of good ideas.

Step by Step Guide to a Home Based Business

So as I said, several months ago I decided it was time for a different approach to work, and decided to look into ideas for a home based business. If you clicked on the link at the bottom of my first post then you'll know that (after listing and dismissing a million and one different ideas on how to set up a business from home, which I'll come to later!) I eventually settled on the internet. I have no qualifications or background training in using the internet or anything like that, just a hobby browser - usually for horse things on the institution that is eBay!

After deciding that the internet was probably the easiest and most convenient way to earn money it was time to start some research. Thankfully, as I had little to occupy my mind at work I had plenty of time to browse! It was whilst doing this browsing that it quickly became obvious that for every genuine, great idea there are a million scams and ways for sellers to trick you into parting with your cash with a promise of making a billion dollars a minute or some such rubbish. The no.1 piece of advice is forget it. The cliche of 'if it sounds too good to be true it usually is' does apply to some extent and you will within a few hours of looking start to pick out the scams. They generally offer completely unrealistic goals and assure you you'll be an internet millionaire within the week. The only thing you will be is lighter in the pocket and very disillusioned with the whole thing. Thankfully, there are also the great ideas and guides out there which really grab you, so just in case you were lazy and you didn't look at it in my first post, here's the link to a favourite of mine. Not only because I like the product but because Kevin keeps it simple and has loads of genuinely great ideas.

Ideas for a Home Based Business

First of all, who the hell am I to be broadcasting about ideas for a home based business?! I know, why you'd ask that, and I can see your point. But then again, who is anyone to tell us what we should and shouldn't be doing to 'make a million' or live the financial dream' and all that jazz. All I know is that working hard every day to make a minimum wage for me and a load of cash for my boss is not my idea of a good days work. I want to be the boss, working when I want, earning the big pile of cash and trotting off to my holiday home in the riviera whenever I feel like it (ok, a little geriatric a destination for someone my age, but you get my point). I would be happy with the ability to work in my pyjamas and have the radio on while i'm doing it, even if I only earn the same wage as I do now to begin with but have the freedom to do it in my own time then I'd be happy. I could fit it in around everything else instead of everything else fitting around work. Brilliant!

Due in no small part to my utter lack of regard for 'the bread line' and a not so comprehensive an understanding of what its like to be in large amounts of debt, I have managed to acquire 4 horses of various different sizes, shapes and mental capability. 3 have come from meat farms in France and it makes me feel great every day to see them happy, safe and enjoying their new life. The problem is thats at the expense of everything else for me, down to even the necessities of toothpaste and shampoo (just be glad you're not sitting next to me!) so in setting out on this home based business ideas I'm hoping to solve the financial problems that come with my horses and also ease the time constraints too. So often I have been at work for hours on end with nothing whatsoever to do and it just strikes me that its a complete waste of time being there. Thats not smart work, its counter-productive and mind numbingly boring along with that. If I could find a way to earn money in a few hours a day where I actually did something that interests me, and then I can finish for the day and get on with my life instead of frittering it away earning money for someone else I would be one happy bunny. So whats my plan to do that? A few months ago I decided it was time to start looking 'outside the box' for money making ideas, and so this is where I found my first idea for a home based business.
